no previous part Part 1 of Dresser Rehab series no next part

I picked up this dresser thanks to free section. As you can see the previous owner dreiced to pain the whole thing PINK!!! The construction is solid and the dovetails are still tight, whick is always a plus.

This picture is of the sides. You can see that there is an additional panel that I haven’t decided whether or not I’m gonna keep it. Any thoughts here would be greatly appreciated. As far as my plans I am going to take off the olf veneer on the top, strip all that pink paint off and veneer the whole thing again. I was thinking zebrawood for the drawers and Indian Rosewood for the rest. Again, any ideas would be a big help here. I don’t have a finish schedule yet but I am thinking of a natural finish.

More to come as I progress along… thanks for looking

Sory to say but that is not as pink as the one in my shop I was given. I think it is why it was free also. haha

Mine doesn’t have the good joints but it still holds scraps and tools.
