That’s the way it felt Rex, like I was on an assembly line.
Repetive work takes the fun out of wood working.
I have some more repetition to do now.
Next I have to sand all four hundred cleats and rout the edges on all two hundred slats.
Then I can finally start assembling.

It goes quickly Yank.
That’s a lie. It is sloooooooooow moving.
About two hundred in on the cleats I kept recounting. It felt like I’d already cut at least a thousand.

Did I mention that I hate painting? Did I mention that I hate assembly work, too? I’d just as soon be hung up by the go-nads as to do that…Makes me want to go in and take a nap….:)

Yes, a lot of pieces, but I think it’ll be well worth it in the end.

Rick, I don’t necessarily enjoy repetive work either, but it is way better than the painting.

Sometimes we just have to do some production work, like it or not. It is worth it if it keeps the wife happy, She is after all giving up some time with you when you are in the shop.

William,
I know you are literally in the dark tonight. I woodn’t paint tonight. I suggest, you drink coffee & read your “woodporn” by candle light!!!
