I am a 21 year old college student currently taking a break from school working construction. I took 4 years of advanced woodworking in highschool. I worked for a trim carpenter for about 9 months trimming out multi-million dollar homes in Upper-East Tennessee. I quit in January of 2009 and moved to Bay St. Louis, MS and participated in an Americorps Internship building homes in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. I labored as a Construction Assistant for Habitat for Humanity Bay-Waveland Area; an affiliate that constructed 34 homes in 2009. As of now I am staying busy doing small woodworking and remodel jobs and will continue school in August 2010 pursuing a degree in Construction Management.
