Just retired this past year ,been woodworking for around 6 yrs as a hobby for CASH. I enjoy building larger projects like beds and end tables ect. Have a collection of allot of various projects however beds are my favorite, I usually mill my own wood so the costs are kept down as far as finished HOME DEPOT wood. I work out of a 500 square foot pole barn which I also built. Use wood heat and keep all wood in a loft which is 1/4 the building .

I used Mountain Ash or White Ash) Planed it from 5/4 and used 1×6 for verticals.Put a slight radius to top rail.Did verticals with mortises. Stain is Cabernet 3 coats
