« Part 1: Alot to Think About Part 2 of Building a Home series Part 3: Batter Up »

It has been a while since I had a chance to mess with Lumberjocks. I kind of wanted to do a weekly thing but I have spred myself thin with all my little hobbies. I have now trimmed my activities back to home construction and music. I am going to try to catch up on this blog, but no promise here. My first post I was still having a lot of grandiose ideas at the end of the planning phase. Welll life has a habit of slaping you in the face. After bieng slapped a couple of times my eyes were open to what needed to be done. I have come up with a simple design that makes sense for everyone that will live there. You can ignore the picture from my first post. The design now is a single floor “shotgun” style home with a gable roof. I am heavy into construction phase at this point, so I can say now I made the right choice to go simple. Sometimes the heart is bigger than the head.
