After years of accumulating tools and a few woodworking skills via home repair, ad hoc "Honey can you make this thingy fit/do/look different", and the occasional project, I now have time to expand woodworking into a real hobby. It will join my Tae Kwon Do (3rd dan chung do kwan style) in filling the time created due to my only child son going off to college a few months ago. I am pretty sure the tools are better than my skill, but with luck and a bunch of practice I may be able to change that.

Hi, and thanks for the welcomes. They came faster than I could read all the intro how to’s and where’s. I do hope I will be able to add to the site, if not immediately. I am in the early stages of turning a very sporadic hobby into a more active one (now that my only son is in college I have more time, but alas, less money). I am going to try to get my profile info up but I am not very experienced with adding things to the web, just browsing, so it may take a little time.
