I greatly admire any woodworker who has taken the time and effort to “build” their hand skills. This is a time honored method for working wood that is sadly lacking in the majority of woodworkers. You have a nice set of carving tools. As a non-carver I love to see those, to whom this talent has been gifted, bring out the hidden beauty that lies beneath the wood’s surface.
