Location: Oshkosh Wisconsin

I have been wood working for about 20 years now as a hobby. Most of my woodworking is done in the fall and winter months, as my shop is down in the basement and i like being outside in the summer, and i also like to fish. I started out by watching the new yankee workshop and thought i might like to do that.
I started out with the power tools but the last few years i have gone more to the hand tools, I really like working wood with hand tools. This looks like a great site where you can learn alot i am really glad i found it, and i am looking forward to being a member.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Welcome Mert, I’m new here as well and have an appreciation for woorking with hand tools as well. Sure, I’ve got a growing selection of power tools to do the bulk of the work, but I really feel much closer and more involved with the peice with I’m working it by hand.
