Venting Cyclone Dust Collector to outside - 2 replies After reading about the safety hazards of the fine sawdust collected, and let thru by the filter I was wondering if there would be and advantage to venting the fine sawdust port thru the wall to outside. Use T-track on workbench top - 13 replies Has anyone had any experience using T-track on the top of your workbench, instead of bench dogs? I could see some advantages…easy adjust of hold downs or stops anywhere on the track. Also, you could design carriers that would slide into the T-track to hold tools you use occasionally, like dovetail jigs. |

Sanding Belts - 0 replies Has anyone tried to make their own sanding belts for a belt sander? They are expensive at big box stores. It looks like manufacturer has just taped the belt together. If anyone has done this, where is a good place to get the belt and tape? Is there any special technique or trick we need to know to do this? Thanks, Gary |
