I am going down to Orange County to the Lie-Nielsen event .
Link

Perfect location off the 405 for those coming up from S.D. or coming down from L.A./ Ventura

If anyone is interested in meeting up, I am planning on arriving at around 10:00. It is at the woodworking program where I have been taking classes, which is usually open for visitors if you are interested in looking into it.

We could meet, shop or window shop, and get lunch after or breakfast before. Or if anyone has a shop in the area that they would like to open up? (hint)

John,

I was able to make it today for the Lie-Nielsen show at Cerritos College in Norwalk, pretty amazing stuff down there, don’t miss out the Pennsylvania small chest, I was totally speechless after looking at the quality of the piece of furniture, also the little secret that holds, its pretty clever. Also don’t miss the chance to get a copy of “The Perfect Edge” by Ron Hock from Hock blades, I even got a signed copy of it (well actually my dad did, but at the end he gave it to me as a gift…. oh well) and if you still have some spare time, take a look at the amazing wood shop that Cerritos College has, I was on dreamland for a few minutes.. lol lots of toys… I mean tools..

Have your say...
