Location: Toronto, Ontario

I've been a woodworker for around 40 years off and on. Now mostly on. My wife and I live in a condo so no room for a shop any more. I now do all my woodwork at a local community centre that has a very well equipped wood shop with low yearly fees. There's nothing quite like it. I get to work with wood in a big shop with very good, commercial grade equipment but the real bonus is all the new woodworking friends I've made and work alone side. There are 85 woodworkers using the shop at various times and the shop is available from 8 to 10 most days of the week. The centre (franklinhorner.org) also offers low cost woodworking night courses and I teach the beginner and intermediate classes.
These days I prefer working on smaller projects like jewelry chests, boxes, boards etc.
