gforcegarcia's Workshop

Milwaukee, WI
United States

I work out of my 2 1/2 car Garage. All of my tools are mobile so I can still park two big vehicles in there during the winter. I have a Jet 10” Contractor table saw, Jet 6” Jointer, Rikon 14” Deluxe Bandsaw, Ridgid 13” Planer and oscillating spindle sander. I also have several routers, Biscuit Joiners, drills, etc… I also have the full compliment of other gadgets you would expect to see in a shop. One of my goals is to improve my hand tool and sharpening skills. I am always working on organizing my shop :-)

My main focus is building furniture projects for my family when I have time. I REALLY want to build my own kitchen cabinets. Right now I am in the process of building a bedroom suite for my wife and myself.

Sounds like a good place to work. You will have to post a photo or two when you get a chance.

good to have you aboard, sounds like a nice little shop, sharpening is the key to good handtool work.

It does sound like you have an interesting shop. I will also echo the comment about pictures. As an avowed shop addict I find tours of other shops to be one of the interesting aspects of this site.

Gforce: Have you gotten you big band saw yet? I have a 9” Craftsman benchtop which I can’t get to work worth a darn. been keeping my eyes out for a 12 or 14” on craigs list. With luck, I may be able to upgrade.
