My CL Woodmizer's First Log

I recently found a deal I couldn’t pass up on a LT15 Woodmizer on CL. I just sawed the first big log with it today and here are the slabs: spalted hackberry. They are 5 feet long x 16-24” wide x 2” thick. And these were cut using the rusty blade that came on it!

congrats andy, this will be really fun, now you can really get into your own wood, and mill what you want, im looking forward to seeing what you get …have fun

I have a pretty big pile of logs I have been accumulating all summer. Just waiting on Monte to come help mill them!

Owning my own mill is a little dream i have and the reason is exactly what you posted above, the ability to unleash a whole bunch of awesome.
