My shop is a two car garage. Although two cars don’t fit comfortably. A few years back I was still able to park car in the garage in the winter by moving all my tools to one side. I finally gave up and the car stays outside.

All my wood is kept in the rafters. Yes looks heavy and my wife keeps saying it will fall some day but I keep and eye on it.

The shop is spray foamed and heated for winter use.

Looks like a good working space and some good tools too.

Looks like them rafters have a bit of load on them, I heard that it doesn’t get all that cold back east!

Lots of load. But it has 2” of spray foam between rafters. I hear that spray foam increases the strength by up to 50%. Its not as cold as Alberta but still gets to -20 and -30 C at times in the winter.
