Log Tenon Cutting - 3 replies Making a log bed for my son out of red maple logs. I have all the logs rough cut to approximate size, but trying to master the tenon and mortise. Currently using a hole saw to cut the tenon and forstner bit to cut the mortise. Need advice on how to taper the tenon so it looks better in the mortise.
