I found a new wood store today ….EdenSaw. Near Seattle and Port Townsend.
Oh Man is that place cool ….They had Bubinga 18 ft long. and Wenge boards stacks of it and so many more i could not possibly remember any more … ...and they had these pieces so wide and so long and thick that you would only see it in a Corporate Board Room …oh my so Being addicted to wood ….. I did buy a 4 ft piece of Bubinga ….I will get a pic of it tomorrow …and show all.
So my friends what does one make with 48” x 10.5” x 3/4” piece of Bubinga ….
I mean its Bubinga …
my girlfriend didnt think i should make a Birdhouse out of it …

Is this store just in that area ? Love to go into the warehouse we have here in Kennesaw. They don’t have as many boards out where you can see them but thier warehouse is full. They do have a nice selection of exotics, but nothing like what you are talking about.

Yes they have two outlets here in Western Washington …the original store is over in Port Townsend further west of Seattle on the Puget Sound …EdenSaw was originally a store supplying wood for BoatBuilders. The have been in existence for about 30 years. Then about 5 yrs ago they opened a store in Ken, Wa. which is about 1/2 hr from me ..So in the heart of the industrial area in Kent, Washington in a really big warehouse stands all this beautiful wood …that is the good part …the bad part of course is that they dont give that wood away ….
I was impressed with their plywoods also …they had mhogany , Cherry and Oak and Birch and maple and said they could get others but again it was all premium priced ….
I forgot to ask them if any of their plywood was made in china …

It sounds like a great find. I always like to know where those kinds of stores are. Hopefully everyone has a similar type of store in their area.
