I finished the miter saw bench, then built the lumber rack from the WWMM collection. I should have made the rack six feet wide instead of the four foot in the plan.
The miter saw bench is not much to look at, but provides a lot of handy storage in the pull-out shelves. The saw itself is nearly 20 years old and is not a slider, so doesn’t use much actual table space. I did put on a zero clearance fence and top. There is plenty of room behind the saw for dust collection, when I figure out a good way to do that.
Next on the agenda is outfeed for the table saw.
