LN vs Lee Valley on block plane - 12 replies
Specifically, I was interested on your opinions on the best value a of block plane. Why ground a Plastic dust collector ? - 8 replies
I am alittle mistified as to why Dewalt includes a ground wire to ground the plastic dust collector hose on the attachment for the Dewalt 735 planer. The plastic looks to be a non conductive material but your thoughts.

Fitting 3/4 dado on 5/8 Arbor - 8 replies
Even when removing the washer I can only fit up to 5/8 inch. I am noticing that most table saws come with a 5/8 arbor. Does the 5/8 arbor size indicate the dado capable width or is this the diameter size ?

I want to modify my silly craftsman miter slots to standard 3/4. So , I am contemplating taking a 3/4 inch straight router bit and widen the slots from .650 to .750( 3/4 ) . I am interested in your thoughts on the matter, specifically using the router to widen the aluminum slots.
