Today I aquired a whole deep red flaming Box Elder tree, a real big one,2 real full truck loads on my 07 Dodge 3500 dump truck, about 3,000 lbs.

So far I have cut pen blanks and turned 1 small bowl with many more planed,no pix yet [don’t have the finish on it] .

I’m with Roger on this one! I’d like a leftover brick that will fit in a USPS mailer, say 12 by 12 by 5-1/2. Not asking for much, I realize. ;)

Is that flaming boxelder like ambrosia maple? Is that what causes that flame pattern?
