Providere
....and so this that is coming forth today,
is a new beginning from the depths of all i am,
and in this now of time placed artistic foray,
i can see into the nature of the seed from whence i came….
—-long were the ages where i acted from the heights of golden emergence,
till in the coming breathe of fall,
i tumbled to the earth of dusty soil understanding wanting resurgence,
and all the while my roots gave sprawl….
—-time passed me on as i began the growth of a story tree,
and in this forest of my beginning i watched the many walk on by,
there was the times when smallness of stature had me look up to thee,
but then came those ages when my height could aspect you in the eye….

And so just as I have been giving the story of a piece of ‘wood art’ called “Providere”, I got to thinking why not also show and share ‘the birthing of a storied-out-poem’, that is coming from within this piece of wood. After all it’s not only about the project of wood that is being created here, but also the the story of the wood that makes this a piece of ‘wood art’.
RusticWoodArt is the who I am, as I give vision and freedom to the all that resides within the depths of my being, and so I thought that I would also share these pictures with you of some old barn boards and the beauty of their grain patterns….

...and then I learned to see in color….

Enjoy….Thank you.

Frank
