Breaking Forth as Maple

....and so out of the ground i arose,
sugar maple beauty of be-holden sweetness,
orange and garnet shellac with brushed on effect,
all burnished with hands tuned to fine steel wool

You certainly have an “eye” for the inner beauty of wood. I am not so sure I would have looked at the original piece and saw simply some firewood. Being “artistically challenged” does impose limitation with respect to seeing the hidden beauty of wood but I am beginning learn to listen to it.

there are some images within the grain and texture there…will certainly be full of is the artist himself.
