Two Creatures, One Way Seeing

....and so my mind goes off on a tangent this morning as i am escaping the realities of this my coming new work day, with the active act of unscrewing my head lid and letting my imagination gather wings and take to flight out of this confinement of refinement, as in; “please frank don’t do that….folks will think you have lost your senses and that much learning has in-deed made you muck mad….!”

—-but then you must understand that’s all-right,....ever since that one day when i came to know my-self as dearly be-loved-of-the-beloved, and then also i have come to see that when i am mad in my madness, then is the opportunity presented to me to be glad….and when gladness wears a smile, then the whole world can be heard singing the songs of heavenly high praise….

I found these two creatures watching me the other day as I was out walking and waundering about in the throes of early afternoon sunlight. So making haste to snap a picture before they decided to depart, I captured their way of ‘one way seeing’ into what is me. It’s kind of un-nerving to know that what you thought was private, has become the viewing arena of others as they seek to look in and un-lock those private moments, where even demons fear to tread.

But then these are my creatures of the woods and yes they also share my house space with me and so I also call them most blest…..

....and….a little more light….

....and this one’s creature name is ‘Bladed Scarf’....

....did I tell you that I name all our cats after barn parts….

....and so ‘Blade’ for short is named after a Bladed Scarf Joint that I use in timber framing….

You all have a very good day//night!!!

here kitty kitty kitty.

and through the eyes to the soul. Hmmm Frank shows us the world through his words and thus his eyes…..... and thus into his soul.
The joys of forums and blogging, as we walk this journey together, our paths intertwined, our visions shared, our souls revealed, and our journey becomes clearer and stronger.

Thank you (as always) for taking the risk to share your thoughts with us.
(“risk” .... I don’t think Frank takes “risks” – he just is.)

Frank – I admire your ability “to see” and always appreciate your thoughts. Great photos and the snow is a wonderful contrast to the wood – wonder what you will be making with that fine piec of wood?! Would like to hear some timber framing thoughts or stories sometime.

—-thank you Debbie and David for the kind and motivating words….

More stories on thoughts of timber framing, David?
Ha! Why whats a soul to do! Lets see now, stories of the woods, creatures in the woods, rustic furniture, wood art, spirit beings, flying imaginations, barns, timber framing, hand tools such as my broadax, sitting in silence and did I forget anything….? Actually David I believe that I have worked some timber framing thought stories into my blogs here and there, but I’ll see what more comes along. I just noticed while looking through my blogs that there dosen’t seem to be dates on them, so I guess I’m going to have to go back soon and date them plus try and get an index system going….or maybe a table of contents….hmmm, now I’ve got to add more to my list of things to do….”hey, did anyone see where I left my list at….thanks again for your comments and suggestions.

Maybe you might say that you know your a lumberjock when you need to make list(s), since one list want do as they keep on getting buried under all the sawdust!!!
