The Function of Beauty is in the essence of who i am, by the character of my spirit as wrought forth, in the singing of my hands to sounds of rapturous travail, that shall declare ‘the function of beauty’ to just so be….

And so beauty ‘just is’....

Beauty functions whether you give it a place of rest or no-place and send it on its way….

Beauty will function as art by being homeless and living in a kings regal and at the same time, beauty can live in a house of splendor and be passed on by….

Beauty will thrive in the heart of the artist and because of the ‘nature of the chemical breakdown’, many an artist has lost his//her head….both in figure of speech and literal art of the chopping block….

In the lofty highs of heaven and reaching to the lower pits of hell, beauty is an animal that dwells with god and no matter where one would flee, this god of beauty is to be found….

I could sing of beauty, and with that same mouth curse this beauty, but the joke would still be on me, as in either or….I still declare beauty….

Though I were to search the whole world over looking for beauty and be willing to pay whatever price, the essence of this thing called beauty is all-ready at home and dwells within me….

Beauty sings a song that few can hear and therefore many go throughout each and every day missing the beauty that starts upon my awakening to each and every new day….

....and yes I could go on and on since the words are flowing free as my hands are flinging these fingers of mine to the sound of keyboard music! But that will be and maybe at another time of my moment now, I shall yet pick up and spout some more….but in the ether of essence, where between the ‘ticking’ and ‘tock’, let it be said that I saw beauty and so as a worker of wood my hands are busily spent expressing this thing called beauty that I have found within the wood as character of spirit and so I work out as beautiful ‘wood art’....

And yes, the snow has started, so if you loose track of me for a period of time, well just know that I’m working hard at trying to stay on top of this white stuff. Blizzard like conditions at times ‘they say’ for today so I’m looking forward to being outside cleaning up as I push some snow with plow, blow some more with a snowblower and then comes the art of hand shovelling, all many times over. Well this is the fun of New Engand and the way it is, and then I’m looking to also get in some time at snowshoeing….you just have to love the snow!!! One very good piece of beauty that will come out of this snow is some new pictures of snow covered landscape….

I apprenticed with a artist/painter and I remember him saying. “It’s easy to paint depression, anger, pain…the trick is to be able to paint true beauty”

No matter which way you cut it – all publicity is good publicity!
