Wood Tales to Tell waundering this path of least resistance to articles of change,
i soon found that in the arena’s of heavens ether,
i was found gathered amongst the trees of this outlying grange,
where the spirits of ancient wood hence forth became my daily nourisher….

—-heal my body….,
heal my soul….,
heal my spirit….,
“heal thyself” the trees then spoke to me….

—-and so i went the way of learning the silence of a falling leaf,
wind swept across the raging pages of accumulated toil,
how does one get to clear their head if all that falls to ground repels belief,
and therein lay my disease since all that falls to earth is now on hallowed soil….

—-” here comes one who crawls on hands and knees ”,
the trees soon took to whispering and talking about me,
and true this was as soon i found the wisdom of looking with expertise,
just as a slug i took to hearing and feeling the terra quivers before my knee….

—-while ages rolled and time stopped for this one slug,
i soon became the wealth of all i learned through assimilation,
and from the ground of terra’s bounti-full branchlets of fernish rug,
i gathered an abundant image of likened imagination….

....and for any and all who would still wonder about the life of a slug,
well all i am is as in the silence of the falling leaf,
till one drops on hands and knees and tastes the life under the leaf’s mosey rug,
while from my then of there’s i gathered new found belief….

And so maybe somewhere, in the grandest of all pictured stories, there remains a ‘dendrochronologist’ who can tell us of ‘dendrochronology’....

...and then as coming to earth’s terra green….

....i came upon one such as this rustic wood spirit, who was walking around….

....and while on my knees I stared into the eyes of one such as this….

Thank you.

”.....having now walked this way with wood, i soon realized that all that surrounded me, was but a shimmer of a glimmer, in the tasting of samples of ‘wood art’ yet to come….”
