Shadows of Moonlight Dance
....in the mornings glow of exalted beauty,
the mountains that so surround my showing,
glistened with the dewish sheen of refined rhapsody,
while the forest beckoned to me of distant flowering….
—-”come to me my love” was heard by one such as i,
as i paused for a moment before the gap in yonder wall,
walking through the glens of depth with seeing eye,
i noticed how the trees all spread their arms in response to an upward call….
—-as a token offering of giving thanks for day-word light and sun,
are not these the ones who teach me much of how to live,
the better part of saving grace as on-ward my steps do run,
and i am fitted to be a part with them in learning how to give….
—-all my yesterdays have faded into the remembering of what is today,
and after i also have gone my way in the shadows of moonlight dance,
there still remains an-other to come this way,
who from standing where that one stood will pause in happenstance….
Just collaging here with some past pictures as I re-numerate on the seasons of my beginnings, from where I have stood at the gap in the wall….

....and yes, connected with any great man you will all-ways find a great lady....my lumberjill....

....and as all-ways, workin' hard is hardly workin' when what your doing is filled with play....

....have a very good day!
Thank you.

Frank

Thanks, Frank. Reminds me of these verses in Romans 1:
19 For what can be known about God is evident to them, because God made it evident to them.
20 Ever since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes of eternal power and divinity have been able to be understood and perceived in what he has made. As a result, they have no excuse;

Thank you Frank…I was about to walk out the door this morning, I checked my in-box and found your poem. What a blessing your words are.
Steffen.

Frank, that was beautiful. I think this proves a thought I’ve had for many years. I’ve felt that something that we do with our hands and mind, and the end result is deeply personal – that is art! What I think Frank proved is that when we are able to do one form of art, there is the possibility of many other forms of art gifts lurking within us. For me I enjoy my photography and music, for Frank his woodcraft, poetry and who knows what else. I would bet that each one of you here at Lumberjocks has one or more additional gifts that you may or may not be using or even are aware of. Thats my philosophy for today have a great one Johnt

—-thanks everyone;
....for your most wonder-full comments and words of thanks that you all have expressed!
—-johnt,
I liked what you said about art being ‘deeply personal’ and how that all of us have these many gifts. One of the greatest challenges about ‘gifts’ is:
1) ....being able to recieve them….
2) ....knowing how to open them….
3) ....and then also being able to share and pass them along with//to others….
And so I will continue this story on my blog roll for the day….at: http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/frank/blog/1066
Thank you.
GODSPEED,
Frank
