I retired from the US Navy in 1995, NAS Dallas, worked for a few years in the corporate world. Moved out of the metroplex in 2002, and the temp jobs dried up. So, I don't "work" anymore, but I do tinker around. I do some honey-do's that the guys can't or won't do, you know, hanging fans, installing outside lighting, stuff like that-there. I also got into writing reminisces a few years ago, but I'm about burned out on it
As far as woodworking goes, I've made everything from nameplates to cradles to blanket chests to flag cases and military styled retirement boxes. However, I had back surgery in March 06, and my stamina has yet to return. Accordingly the woodworking is kinda hit-and/or-miss. I do appreciate seeing what others have done, too, as sometimes I get an inspiration.
