thanks, I cant wait to get some help and share ideas with other woodworkers. I’m retired so I spend all day and sometime nights ” Late” working in the shop. I’m buildind a Buffet out of QSWO at the moment. Or I was until I started having this Jointer issue. This has stopped me cold in my tracks. Chris

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself almost a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…
Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

It alright I guess. I bought the 5hp sp and It;s not doing what I was told that it would do. Ok Rip 8/4 hardwoods, cherry, maple, black Walnut, Sepele, ect. ect. But then again nothing seems to be as advertised these days. Hmmm I wander why that is? Other than that and the riving knife adjustment it’s a beautuful saw. Thanks for the comment.
