Seems a bit tall. What’s the height at the top of the mattresses? I plan to build a platform bed for each of my boys after I finish in their bedroom (building all new). I believe that I will go with no box spring, and make the base about 16 to 18 inches tall, that should give me an overall height of about 22 to 24 inches tall. For a child I think that will be a comfortable height. What are your thoughts?

Also I have seen some great YouTube videos that are helping me design the ones I am making, did you use any such sources? And what sources did you use to build yours, I would love to see other ideas while I plan the two I am building.

Have your say...
