Hello Ericandcandi,

Welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find this to be an enjoyable and rewarding part of your woodworking adventure.

-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Thanks Guys, The warm welcome was great. I just secured the deal of a lifetime when the wife said she would quit parking in the garage if I bought her the new house she wanted…..Can you say “done deal”. We have been in the house for 4 months and have just now unpacked the last box out of the garage. ( We are nurses that are back in school finishing up our 4 year degree so time is limited.) This garage, a 20×20 with extra 10×6 alcove, is mine…all mine….mine..mine..mine..mine..mine. I will post pictures of the growing shop from start to finish and hopefully let the members here have alot of input in the design and functionality of the new shop. I think that will be exciting. lets just sit back and see what happens.

Wow, a great deal a new shop and a new house. I wish you success on the schooling; I know how difficult it can be to juggle real life and attending classes/completing assignments. It all seems to get in the way of making sawdust:-)

Welcome to Lumberjocks. Looking forward to progress photos as the shop develops and projects start coming!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless
