Part 1: Reclaiming lumber

I have needed to build an outfeed table for over a year. I also am tired of using my table saw as a workbench. I replaced my stairs last year with a new set of oak stairs. I saved as much of the lumber as I could from the old stairs. I decided to make an outfeed table using as much of that lumber as I could. Part 2: Putting it together

Here is a pick of the table frame after putting it together: The stretchers fit into the dados in the legs I put the lower stretcher almost on the floor because I want to put a couple cabinets in there with some drawers and shelves. The top is being glued and screwed together out of 2 4X8 sheets of MDF Next it’s onto putting the trim on the table and then the finish.

Part 3: Finishing it all up

Well the outfeed table is now complete. I put a coat of sanding sealer and a couple coats of clear satin poly on it.I am pleased with how it came out and I am glad I took the time to put a quick finsih on it. Thanks for reading along.
