My old shop was 16X12.(first picture) We moved to a new home to meet my growing familys needs. I wanted a home with some property and luckily we found one with over an acre. With that i finally had the room to build my dream shop!! Its 24×24 with 10 foot walls. No cars allowed!!! I had the slab poured and the trusses made but the rest i did myself and with the help of friends. It is one step closer to my own business! I will post more pictures soon.

I bought a dream tool when i built the shop as well. Steel Citys 3 hp granite top cabinet saw with 50” extension is in the middle of my shop!!

I own a number of Craftsman Professional tools. I check many reviews on every tool i buy. I want to have a quality tool that will last a long time, and Craftsman Proffesional have served me well. They seem to always have good reviews and are the most bang for your buck. I have a 13” planer, 10” dual compund slider, 6” jointer, a 10” table saw, and a 14” band saw of the brand. They have all met my expectations.
I have 3 routers- A Dewalt Dw621 plunge which has been excellent, I have milwaukees 3 1/2 hp fixed base production router mounted to norms table. That is a beast. I just got a used skill plunge i plan to use for just on the dovetail jig.
I have a good ole Canadian tire special 10” drill press along with a scroll saw and numerous other hand tools, drills, ect. Canadadian tire always has great deals that are hard to pass up.
I have numerous Freud blades and router bits, a porter cable brad nailer, framer, ridgid pin nailer and a bostich finish nailer. They are run by a 26 gallon cambell hausfeld and a smaller craftsman for jobs outside the shop. Dust collection is somewhat controlled by a small 1 hp craftex dust collector. (all i have room for now)

I have been lucky to acumulate these tools, in compared to some it is a relatively short amount of time. I thank my wonderful and very understanding wife for supporting me as a wood widow. lol She has bought me some of these tools over the years.

Eisner,

You have a nice space in which to work. You have made efficient use of your available space and I like the router table and miter saw stand that you built. They certainly are necessary additions to the shop. You have a nice set of tools as well.

Thanks for the tour. I have enjoyed the visit.

-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.
