Worked for city of Houston, Tx. as a Policeman for over 34 years. Always did woodworking as a hobby. More therapy than work. Enjoy creating things with wood. Happy when someone is pleased with my work. Have never done any of it for the money. My father taught me some basics when I was growing up. He could do almost anything with his hands. I picked it up and am still learning. I rarely work from plans, I see it in my mind and just build it.
