Steve at woodworking for mere mortals made one of these lighted shadow boxes and i loved that idea so i made one used maple for outer frame.

this vanity and dresser was left in a house by the previous owner, i picked it up and restored it was gonna sell it but once my wife seen how nice it came out she decided to keep it for herself, i think it came out really nice. I have a question for everyone i would like to build one of those trains rides for my son and grand baby that you place over your riding mower where can i find a template to build it.

well, like the title says this is not entirely a wood project but i designed and built this hotdog cart over the summer, with the intentions of becoming a hotdog vendor well the cart was so well received that it was sold
but some of the features that are wood will be:
1. the rear handle is made from hickory with the push bar made from recycled 1” wooden dowel
2. the storage with sliding plexiglass panels is made from birch plywood with a black laminate covering
3. the portable grill is mounted with birch plywood and black laminate
4. the side tables are made from birch plywood

Had some leftover maple from making a larger box and i wanted to see if i could make a smaller box, well the boxes turned to be 1-1/2” square and 1” tall made the top from Brazillian cherry somewhat of a Doug Stowe design i placed one of my son’s action figures in for reference. thank you for looking

Received some pine boards from a relative that was once used in their house as shelving in their closet after cleaning and planing i decided to make a series of boxes here is one of those boxes i left all the character intact and i think it looks great, thank you for looking.

Dipping board I recently made, designed to have two dipping bowls instead of one, dimensions are 24” x 7” x 3/4” made from quilted maple and paduak wood finished with salad bowl finish by general finishes. thanks for looking.

i have been a member for quite sometime, but have never posted any of my work recently searching thru various projects i came across some pictures of dipping boards i thought that would be a really neat project to try and so i made a couple, here is my version made with maple, purpleheart and brazilian cherry.
