Here is my workshop in a two car garage with room for one car. The major items are the table saw, drill press, 10” chop saw station (from ShopNotes #31 vol 6), and an adjust-a-bench. Miscellaneous items include a shopfox dust collector, a bench grinder, and a small air compressor (hidden in a compartment on the side of the grey bench for some noise control). The grey bench came with the house. I painted it, strengthened it, and added the drawers. The top on the black craftsman mechanics tool box is custom made with oak plywood, select pine edging and a clear poly finish. The cabinets above were the unfinished oak variety purchased from the home center and again finished with clear poly. Four halogen puck lights provide illumination for the bench top. All of my nail guns and other power tools are stored in the grey metal cabinet as seen in my ‘Tool cabinet organizer’ project.

Nice looking shop. All it needs is a little more sawdust. Hope the holidays are good to you.

I swept up for the photos :-) Which is the reason for all the dust balls in the first photo.

Have your say...
