From a fellow Veteran

I would like to take this opportunity to thank ALL of you for the thought that goes out to myself and all my fellow veterans. I feel a great depth of thoughtfulness from all of you to us whom has served in the Armed Forces. I served in Viet Nam and proud of my mission I performed. There are others that's served in there own way and feel the same as I do about what they do.
I would also like to take this opportunity to THANK ALL the VEREANS FROM NOW AND IN THE PAST.ALL OF US AND OTHERS HAS GIVEN ALOT OF OUR SELVES and never asked anything in return. so I want to say this THANK YOU to all the Vets. and to all whom has had to stay at home and supported us from afar.

  • THANK YOU**

War, armed conflict or what other euphinism people want to call it is a blight on human society.
a waste of every resource involved going.
However its a last resort used to return some sanity to our life and hopefully learn from the results.
Of which our young proud members of the Defence Forces are trained to do if required.

I can still remember my father saying to me "do you want me to hit you with a stick" when I was doing the wrong thing wrong as a child, I never said yes please but it appears there are some mature adults who should know better now seem to want to encourage the comment on a one up man ship and put the lives of their countryman at risk and challenge the status quo, surely we have more intellect than that to repeat the mistakes made in the past.

I hope so other wise places like the lumberjocks site for one will close down because we no longer have any fingers hands eyes or hearing.

Live safe work safe and educate to prevent incidents happening in the first place.

Lest we forget

I know first hand on how we (Viet Nam Vets) were treated back in the 70's. I really wish I new how or why we were treated in such disgraced. This did not com from my home town, but from somewhere where I spent some time afterwards. I remember things that no one should have to. sometimes I wander which was worse, Viet Nam or afterwards. So with this said, I would like to Thank the people of Central Wisconsin for there warm and considerate Thank You's to me. The people here have been kind and considerate just knowing that I am a Viet Nam Vet that they have been respectable towards me. So I say Thank YOU

Sorry to go.

It's been some time since I was able to get on here, and even longer able to do much of work. I have had to get out of working with wood of anyways. My lungs has taken a turned on me. I am doing right now the best I am able to do. I have had to start staying with my oldest son, and get pampered 24hrs. a day. They are taking the best care any hospital, nursing homes, could ever do. I have to stay in an air cooled, low humidity room. That sure ddon't leave me much I get to do.I took a turn for the worse about 6 months ago and that was all it took.
I take pride in knowing all of you over the past few years, and enjoyed watching all of your work display on here. We are still trying to go through all of my works and tools, just to see what I have. Please I ask for. No sympathy but keep me in your prayers.
All I have tried to live by, is a Man can show his worse is how many of family and ones I can say are friends. So I FEEL I AM ONE OF THE MOAT WEALTHIEST MAN ALIVE. No one can ever ask for any more. I hope I will be able to continue to keep in touch with.
With many thanks
Your friend,
James L. Earl
