Ok Here goes. I have put this off for about two weeks. It has taken me about 9 hours to get it to this point. People thinks that the woodburning they done in high schools is same as what I do. After selecting the picture there is hours pending trying to get the picture just right to transfer everything over to the piece of wood. after you put it on the wood I spend a lot of time going over and over to get the right depth. so with out further ado I give you the DAGON FLY. (OK I AM GOING TO SHOW HOUR MUCH I DON’T KNOW, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT KIND OF WOOD THIS IS? I FEEL SO OIMBARRESSED BUIT THIS IS ONE THING THAT REALLY DIDN’T STILL WITH ME ALL THAT GOOD. SO MAY I GET a little help? )

Jim; If you could show an end grain picture that would help. Is the wood hard? Where did you get it?

Beautiful work Jim. Hard to tell the wood type. My best guess is Mahogany or something related to it judging by the color and grain,

Don; It came from a factory where this is what is in between there parts that comes in. I wished My Buddy still worked there, so I could keep getting it, I will take pictures of it raw. The wood is a form of plywood and is only 1/8” ands 1/4” Here somewhere I posted 3 pictures of the wood if you can’t find it let me know I will try something else.
