I need to make large glued up panels. They will be about 24” x 30” by 1” thick. I’ve made many smaller panels in the past using 5 plys of hardwoods. My concern with these panels is their long term stability since these panels will have many 7/8” holes in a peg board like layout. I’m wondering about using void free birch plywood either 1/2” or 3/4” with walnut glued to each side. Anyone have any suggestions?
