I replaced the particle board table, and used it slightly. I also made a safety “key” for the trigger to replace the long lost one. Runs like a cham...

I found these in my travels and although I already have similar planes already restored, I thought a couple more couldn’t hurt. Well, I don’t have the time to do the restoration and I really could use a decent low angle blo...

Orchid Tree? - 10 replies
Can anyone tell me what king of tree this is? I live in Central Florida and these trees are very prolific, to the point of being a nuisance. They are beautiful when they bloom once a year. They put out long seed pods that go everywhere. During the rainy summer season they can grow a foot or more per week. They sprout anywhere and everywhe...

Luan for Substrate ? - 2 replies
Has anyone out there had any luck veneering over 1/4” luan? I have some nice sapelle (sp.) and quilted maple veneers that I have been saving for that right project and was wondering if it was safe to veneer over luan plywood. The community’s opinion would mean a lot.
