I finally have my “little shop of horrors” done.I am ready to try some new projects.I made a few bird houses and a new feeder for the yard so far.

Jan.2009
I got a drill press for Christmas and made a bench for it.I am finding quite a lot of uses for it already.

Nice looking shop you have there. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Hi Bon,

I see what you mean about the location, unless of course you are on a yacht.

You have a nice shop and a decent set of tools to work with. Your miter saw looks like it could use a home though. It looks lonesome sitting on the floor. I like your off cut storage as well. We tend to generate a lot of these and need someplace to store these “treasures”.

Thanks for the post. I enjoyed touring your shop.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

See all of us screw up. I just put my welcome in the wrong spot. You are just extra special, you have been welcomed twice and a wood worker besides. You have a nice little shop and I know you will like this sight.

God Bless
tom

I really like the use of the shoe door hanger for small tools storage, what a great idea. The cat in the tool stand reminds me when my dog would sleep under my workbench. Thanks for the memory. Correct me if I’m wrong is that a shoe door hanger? And check out the bird houses. wow!

Thanks for all the comments.Yes Bob that is an over the door hanger but some of the pouches are way too small for shoes so I’m not sure what it was originally made for.I’ve had it it for quite some time now.Works great for all my pliers and stuff I use all the time.I have a bench I like to use with my mitre saw but I also use it outside all the time so I don’t want to give it a permanent spot.A good friend just gave me a bunch of nice wood yesterday so I will be busy doing some more little projects.Just moved to this house end of Nov. so I am really happy with the progress I have made so far with my shop. There was no shop here to start with. Now I am working on my garden planning and seed starting also.Busy,busy.busy (lol) But I love it.
Oh yeah and my cat loves it too. Until I start sawing ha ha ha Then she’s gone till I stop.

Thanks Canuckgal.I don’t do much of anything down there in the summer but now that cooler weather is here and the basement isn’t so stuffy I will be trying some more small projects.
