Hi everyone:
I have a small workshop in my basement .Love to make different bird houses ,feeders and small lawn ornaments. My icon is my first attempt at a bird feeder. This year I would like to get into doing some outdoor benches, planters, and whatever strikes my fancy.I love LJ's and seeing all the great projects posted here. And to all the great people who contribute to helping others learn thank you sooo much.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

like that bird feeder, 3 years ago i also got into woodworking for the frist time, you are doing the right thing…. starting out with simple things, simple things helps us to improve our craftmanship. for the bigger challenges, i still build bird houses, and easy projects to improve on my craftmanship. this is the best place to see and learn about woodworking. I get up everymorning to check out lumberjocks drinking my morning coffie before i go to my shop.

G’day Dustygirl. Thankyou for the nice comments on my rings. Sadly I can’t take the credit for these designs. I got the idea from a project done by ‘Scrappy’ which I saw some months ago. I don’t have the use of a lathe, so this is the next best thing. Although I rather like making these rings, without a lathe. Keep in touch. Thanks again, regards Hagrid
