I have a 18v hegner scroll saw which has been an excellent scroll saw. Recently the finished cut isn’t what it used to be. I’ve tried slower and faster blade speeds and have also tried different blades to no avail. I am wondering if there are any suggestions to get the saw cut back to the expected finish. The arms have been lubricated and everything mechanical seems to be in order.

I have a Hegner but am certainly no expert on them. A few ideas: in use is there any added vibration you noticed from when it was cutting well? Is the machine bolted down securely to its base? Have you called the hegner reps for advice. I believe its Accurate machine?

Have your say...
