Location: Hamilton Montana

I've dabbled in wood working for over 30 years. My how time flies.

I tried scrolling in the early 80's, had a ryobi 16" saw that vibrated to no end and had a special adaptor to accept pinless blades that never worked very well.
That saw ended up being a door stop. I got a dewalt 788 & have enjoyed scrolling now for almost 10 years.

I really enjoy puzzle making and fretwork, have not tried intarsia with the exception of one time. More sanding than I care for albeit the finished project is very nice.

Retired in 99. Recently re-located back to Montana. I was raised in Missoula as a youngster until family moved in the 60's. So came back to that area but it has grown so much I barely recognized it. So I headed down the bitter root valley and settled on Hamilton. I'll give it a year to grow on me.

That's enough rambling for now..

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself almost a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
