bought an older craftsman table saw today. wanted to share it had some surface rust but cleaned up nicely

i know this isnt an actual project but im pretty pumped up about it anyways. its a lathe i found on craigslist and hopeful i can start puttin up projects ive completed with it sooon

this is my first attempt at carving. Im going to try to do a nativity scene for some family and thought i would get an early start since i have no experience with carving. i did this with just a little cheap set of carving tools from Micheals. and really only used the little gauge cus i dont know how to use the other tools they dont seem to do much haha. but im going to invest in a carving knife for the other carvings in the scene.

this is a bench i put together out of some repurposed fence i couldnt use.

i know its been a while since christmas but heres some ornaments i made using the handy dandy scroll saw. still relatively new to it so i went through about five ornaments that broke before i got use to it. But thanks to steve good for the patterns. and i got one from woodcraft mag. the were a hit with everybody.

i was just messing around on the scroll saw today first time every using one so its nothing special but i thought it was worth sharing. its made from a piece of fence that i couldn’t use.
