I have been trying to spread the woodworking Christmas cheer around these parts. Here are my stories for the season…
1. Missed the boat on Chris’ craftsman plane giveaway. A bit of spirit got into me and I turned around and gave one of my own planes away to help build up the aspiring galoot.
2. I had put my miter saw and stand up for sale after my black friday score. No takers on the forums, so the saw went to ebay where it was adopted. I put the stand on craigslist. A few days after posting I get a rather lowball offer. I wouldn’t normally drop my asking price by 40% so early. After giving it some thought I came up with a counter offer that supported the Christmas spirit. We happily agreed to exchange the stand for his offer plus a quart of egg nog and some holiday cheer :D :D :D
Any other Christmas cheer stories?
