This is my third shop setup. The first was a full one car garage used for “garage stuff” that I had to evolve into a place for woodwork. Part 2: Still the front of the middle...

Today I pulled out the work surface I’d been using for the bandsaw and router- not that I ever used the router there… I built a new table- pretty small 18”x24” for the bandsaw. I placed this in the nook that held the air compressor previously. Now to use the bandsaw you stand next to where you would stand for the tablesaw. I moved the router to the back edge of the 2×5 work bench for storage. This is a chunk of bench I can’t really do any work at and ...

Part 3: The middle of the middle?

Okay things are coming together nicely in terms of improved workflow. Here is an updated layout: https://dickle.shutterfly.com/pictures/1754 A lot of the wood storage was from a bunch of pallets I reclaimed and didn’t know what to do with. I am burning my way through that stuff and was able to tighten it up a bit. Then I shuffled the 4 drawer file cabinet and that 20×42 work bench.
