I have the Bosch 4000 TS, my main saw. It came out of the box straight and true 6 years ago, but then the fence went out of alignment, a common problem. Another website had this technique:

1. raise blade all the way (saw unplugged of course)
2. loosen set screws (2) on top of fence
3. align fence to blade.
4. tightens set screws
5. re-check for parallel
6. clean and wax all sliding parts between fence and table
7. sand all “burs or scratches on table top (soft aluminum)

Hope this helps. I like the Bosch, but still dreamin’ about a real cabinet saw.

I love my Bosch, but how is that Amazon’s selling it for $600, marked down from $1,200?

It ain’t that cool. :)

I have to admit that my favorite Bosch tool is my dishwasher. That baby is SUHWEEEET !!!

$400 or so at cpo outlets? Is that a good site? I always get worried about “reconditioned ” tools for sale.

Looks very similar to the TS Bosch G10 Professional #3 601 L30 240 – 1800w here in Australia which I have…
I’ve found it a good saw for my requirements….
I got mine secondhand about 18mths ago so maybe I need to re-look at it as you’ve done, thank you..
