« Part 4: Getting to the Hand Tools Part 5 of The Big Move series no next part

Well fellow woodworkers, I have finally decided to retired my hobby. My health is getting worse, and moving around the shop is a struggle. I have already put many larger tools on Craigslist for others to enjoy this hobby/profession.

I want to keep a few of the smaller hand tools, and perhaps make some smaller items that don’t require heavy breathing. I enjoy seeing all of your projects and posts and will continue to watch for tips and tricks that may make my life easier.

Sorry to hear that. Hope that the light set of tools will keep you active in the shop!

Sorry that you have to come to this point but I guess we all may experience something similar in our lives. I’m sure that it must not have come easy to decide to move on this path and I hope that the smaller tools will keep your hands and mind going. It’s good to hear that you aren’t giving it up completely.

DQ I hope you can find the balance between your health and still being able to do what you love. Glad you haven’t completely given up. Please post some of the small projects you complete.

sorry to hear that you are at a point where you’re health no longer allows you to do things you are love.

I wish you the best and will be waiting to see the things you post in the future!
