Ok so my mom dose these stain/painted window things, this is one she did for her best friend son as a wedding gift. my mother wanted it to be back light so i built a frame around it and put a hard board back on it i also installed rope light for lighting. the wood used was gumwood of course and i think it turned out lovely.

this table is made from gum wood its hard to find in my area but it is a fun wood to work with if you can find it with some of the hart patern in it. notice the top.
