There are several different kinds. I have seen a yellow locust. Black locust has can have some dirty yellow. But honey locust has a pinkish, orangish hue to it. There are even some blood red vains around the heart area. Have just tipped the ice burg though on how much I want to understand this wood.

I have a large walnut slab im making a coffee table from , It has a large black knot hole i want to keep but fill it even with the surface, it has a great black edge to it, what can i fill it with and then apply finish over to not hide the hole
