I have been working with wood for some time now and lately I have found that I enjoy it more than ever. Making things that are unusual and different seems to grab my interest. Took up turning a couple years ago and enjoy the challenge of design with each piece I turn.
I also enjoy building all kinds of jigs that make things easier for repeated projects. Ideas to improve the shop are ongoing and very welcomed in a shop with limited room.
My main interest are building small items now, but still enjoy the big projects.

Hi Dave, I checked out your projects after seeing your comments on my bowl. Lots of beautiful projects there. I also liked your sharpening jig idea. I have some bits just like that one which I usually sharpen attached to it’s handle, but your idea gives much better control.

Nice job DD! I really like the idea of using odd pieces around the shop for good use.

Have your say...
